Fourth Annual Longest Night Candlelight Vigil

~ to honor survivors of sex trafficking ~

Thank you to all who so generously supported our historic 2025 Longest Night Vigil.  We began offering light and hope for survivors during the longest night of the year, December 21st and committed to stand for survivor freedom with a candlelight vigil outside, one hour for every $1,000 raised.  Our initial goal was to raise $30,000/stand 30 hours, but a few very generous donors stepped forward to create $23,000 in matching donation opportunities, so we soon - incredulously - increased our goal to $46,000 to unlock all the match dollars. Not only did you help us achieve that historic goal, but your enthusiastic community support for survivor freedom allowed us to raise nearly $70,000!  All donations to the Longest Night Vigil fund the high-quality programs we provide for hundreds of survivors annually.  

We are deeply grateful to every one of you who so generously donated - every dollar mattered, to the 70 volunteers who helped shine our light of hope brightly into the night (some of you pulling multiple nights), and to everyone who sent messages of support as we completed 69.5 hours holding candles outside to honor survivors (12/21, 12/22, 12/23, 12/24, 12/29, 1/4, and 1/5).  Every dollar given for the Longest Night Vigil directly supports survivors in achieving freedom from violence, trauma, and addiction.  They see all this good you are doing, the encouragement you are sending, and experience the healing and freedom you are making possible.  This vote of confidence in their recovery means the world to them!  Special word of thanks to residents and graduates of our residential program who gave their time to serve as hospitality hosts every night - and to all who provided meals, snacks, and good vibes all along the way.
